Surround Harmondsworth Demonstration #6

Saturday, 7 February 2015 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Surround Harmondsworth Demonstration #6 - demo to end detention, fast track and stop the scapegoating of immigrants. The Movement for Justice calls on immigrant, black and Asian communities and youth to build mass action with detainees and asylum seekers to end the racist detention system. Throughout 2014, the movement has grown in size, strength and confidence. Since June last year, demonstrations organised and led by Movement for Justice have galvanised resistance to detention. Former and current detainees and other asylum seekers are the leading and most dynamic force on these demonstrations. Joining in the demonstrations is an act of defiance and of hope, and an opportunity to assert basic rights and dignity as human beings.
