Jody Jock

A quiet man, born and raised amongst the dessert heat and twilight glitter of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jody Jock has spent the past 14 years in San Francisco taking photographs with haunting narratives. By refusing to be held back by a lack of resources he is an inspiring example for young creatives beginning their artistic journey.

"My photography work has healed many old wounds and has allowed me an opportunity to get to know myself much better. You are not limited by money or resources. It’s an illusion. I have really old, shitty equipment; if I had waited for the right equipment and a good camera I’d still be waiting. If you have the desire and intention to create artwork then it will happen for you."
